Nutrition values are calculated from USDA FoodData Central reference data — the same source used by food labs. For products sold commercially, we recommend confirming with laboratory analysis. BatchReady gives you a production-ready starting point.
Can I use the nutrition label for FDA compliance?
The label follows FDA formatting spec (21 CFR 101.9) exactly. The nutritional values are estimates, not lab-tested. Many cottage food producers and farmers market vendors use AI-calculated labels. For retail distribution, lab testing is recommended.
What recipe formats work?
Anything. Ingredient lists, paragraph form, shorthand, abbreviations, fractions, metric or imperial. Our AI handles all common recipe formats — just paste it in.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The Per-Recipe plan is a one-time $29 payment per recipe with no subscription. The Pro plan is $49/month for unlimited recipes, but you can cancel anytime.
Can I edit my recipe after generating?
Yes. Pro users can edit ingredients, batch sizes, and packaging — then re-generate all documents instantly. Per-Recipe users can edit within their purchased recipe.
What file formats do I get?
Production sheets and cost breakdowns are Excel files (.xlsx) with working formulas. Nutrition labels are PDFs. All files are print-ready.
